One More Day Film Poster

Tehran on the brink of the new millennium. Here, just like any other big city, it is hard to escape being sucked into the anonymous hustle and bustle of life… A man manages to scrape together some kind of a living by selling medicines on the black market. He meets his customers in gloomy tea houses near market squares and on windy street corners. Packages exchange hands. There is a certain danger involved, but also an inner emptiness. This man was married, once, but his wife died. He meets a woman at a bus stop. Just two people, waiting. They meet here every day and travel on the same bus together. They are in love with each other, but nobody notices. She was married once, too. She longs desperately to put an end to her loneliness. They walk down the street together, but they must be careful to make their being together appear coincidental. –Berlinale
