Double-bill of patriotic short films, produced during the height of the Second World War to boost morale on the Home Front. 'Our Country' (1944) uses a commentary written by Dylan Thomas as a sailor returns home on leave. As he travels around the country, the sailor takes comfort and reassurance from the steadfastness of the British people in the middle of war. 'The Dim Little Island' is by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Humphrey Jennings, and collects thoughts on the nature of the country from men such as composer Vaughan Williams.
