Triple set of concerts from the late, great Italian tenor. 'Pavarotti in Central Park' (1993) captures Luciano Pavarotti performing 24 pieces to over half a million New Yorkers in the city's famous Central Park on the 26th June 1993. 'Pavarotti and Levine in Recital' (1988) was recorded in 1988 in front of a packed house at New York's prestigious Metropolitan Opera. Pavarotti gave one of his greatest recitals, accompanied by the Met's celebrated music direcror, James Levine. On 29 April 1991, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his very first stage appearance, Pavarotti invited a galaxy of today's operatic stars to the picturesque Teatro Valli in Italy's Reggio Emilia. Headed by the great tenor himself, his gala celebration proved one of the most distinguished and memorable of its kind. It is included here as 'Pavarotti: 30th Anniversary Gala Concert' (1991).
