Included is advice on choosing a fall-out room, building a radiation resistant shelter, what essential items to salt away for survival, water, food and sanitation, fire precautions, emergency radio broadcasts and disposal of dead bodies. Also included is the 1951 civil defence volunteer recruitment film 'The Waking Point', and 1971's 'Sound and Alarm', which details the work of the UK Warning and Monitoring Organisation.
