P'tit Quinquin Film Poster

Bruno Dumont writes and directs this French crime comedy. When dismembered human body parts are found inside a lifeless cow in an abandoned bunker it falls to Lieutenant Carpentier (Philippe Jore) and his superior, Commandant Van der Weyden (Bernard Pruvost), to investigate the mystery. As the pair's investigation coincides with the school's summer holidays they are routinely tracked around their seaside town by the mischievous P'tit Quinquin (Alane Delhaye), who also spends his time playing pranks on his unfortunate family. While their investigation continues and the detectives learn about their victim, more body parts are discovered stuffed into yet more animals, forcing the duo to delve deeper into the hidden culture of the small, rural community.
