Double-bill of erotic horror from French director Jean Rollin. 'Rape of the Vampire' (1968) was Rollin's debut feature, about two vampire sisters placed under a curse by their Queen, who come into conflict with the forces of modernity represented by three Parisian women who arrive at the sisters' chateau, convinced they need psychiatric help. 'The Living Dead Girl' (1982) is a dark portrait of a beautiful young vampire's struggle to come to terms with the cost of her eternal existence. Brought back from the dead by a radioactive spill, she is appalled to discover that she now requires an almost constant diet of human blood if she is to survive. Making her way to her lesbian lover's distant castle, she becomes filled with despair and self-loathing.
