On a quiet morning in 1976 Paris a man strapped a 35mm movie camera to the front of his car. Displaying totally unapologetic lawlessness, the nine-minute film he made gives you the first person experience of driving full-throttle through the city's streets, smashing legal speed limits, narrowly avoiding other cars, buses, pedestrians, on-coming traffic and even the dustbin trucks. The film would be impossible to recreate with today's heightened security and speed cameras. This release is made up of both the film itself and a documentary revealing the truth behind the 30-year-old mystery that has shrouded the making of the film - and the identity of the 'unknown driver'.
