Documentary tracing a major Berlin-based youth dance project led by conductor Simon Rattle. 250 underprivileged teenagers, almost all of whom have never danced before, are brought together for a dance performance set to Stravinsky's 'Le Sacre du Printemps' performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The film follows three of the young people from the initial stages of the project and the arduous training programme led by choreographer Royston Maldoom through to their triumphant opening night.
