Rien Sur Robert Film Poster

Smart French comedy directed by Pascale Bonitzer. Didier Temple (Fabrice Luchini) is a film critic who writes a scathing article about a Bosnian film he had never seen. Almost immediately, his life begins to fall apart. He argues with his family and with his girlfriend, Juliette (Sandrine Kiberain), who subsequently leaves him for another man - a TV director she meets in a park. Didier develops paranoia and becomes convinced that he is being followed by a dark haired man. At a dinner party, Didier is finally introduced to his 'shadow', Jerome Sauveur (Laurent Lucas), who could be his double - except that he's more handsome and writes better than Didlier. With all these ghosts of his life haunting him, he finally ends up at the foot of Mont Blanc in rather unpleasant circumstances...
