The first in a series of filmed discussions exploring some of Shakespeare's most complex and compelling characters. Filmed in the apt surroundings of London's Freud Museum, four pre-eminent figures in the theatrical and psychoanalytic fields - actor Simon Russell Beale, director Terry Hands, and analysts Ignês Sodré and David Bell - discuss the richly enigmatic and deeply manipulative character of Iago from Shakespeare's 'Othello'. The discussion is chaired by the former president of the British Psychoanalytic Society, Don Campbell.
