In 'The Case of Harry Crocker', Holmes must clear the name of an escape artist who has been accused of murdering his wife. In 'The Case of the Christmas Pudding', a notorious criminal is on the run after escaping from prison, and vows his revenge against Holmes. In 'The Case of the Unlucky Gambler', a helpless young boy arrives at Baker Street to ask Holmes to find his missing father. Holmes deduces that the missing man was a gambler, and sets off to investigate. Finally, in 'The Case of the Jolly Hangman', Holmes must uncover the identity of a violent strangler plaguing the streets of London.
