'Men' looks at footage captured by soldiers during the war, which provides an insight into what life was like on the frontlines. 'Women' examines images captured by women as they took up the burden of work on the home front. Finally, 'The Children' collects footage of children during the war and brings to life the difficulties faced by youngsters at such a tumultuous time.
