Synopsis

A software designer fights back against corruption in this Indian political thriller directed by S. Shankar. Returning home to India after a successful career in America, software systems architect Sivaji (Rajnikanth) aims to give something back to the society that raised him. Despite having to pay government kickbacks to get things moving, Sivaji sets up a non-profit trust called the Sivaji Foundation to build a network of hospitals and educational institutions to serve the poor. But when corrupt rival businessman Adiseshan (Suman), who has his own money-making institutions, learns of Sivaji's plans, he uses all of his influence to try to bring the would-be philanthropist to his knees. Now, with the odds stacked against him and a corrupt system out to see him fail, Sivaji must use all of his skills and cunning to turn the tables on his enemies.
