Rob Brown makes his feature directorial debut with this low-budget British thriller starring Rachael Stirling and Roger Jean Nsengiyumva. Jumah (Nsengiyumva), a former child soldier from Africa, is now living in London with Laura (Stirling), his adoptive mother. With his sixteenth birthday approaching, Jumah is determined to escape his violent past and begins a romantic relationship with Chloe (Rosie Day). However, when he witnesses a murder Jumah realises his past life may be impossible to leave behind...
