Australian crime thriller starring Brenton Thwaites and Ewan McGregor. When 19-year-old JR (Thwaites) begins a six month prison sentence for a petty crime, he makes a conscious effort to keep his head down and not get involved with any unsavoury characters. However, notorious criminal Brendan Lynch (McGregor) notices the youngster's potential and befriends him, promising to protect him on the other side. After JR's release, Lynch asks him to stage a prison break to get him out and in return he offers him a place in his crew. As the newly extended crew plans their latest heist that promises to deliver millions of dollars worth of gold, JR realises that he is in way over his head and starts to wonder if there's anyone he can really trust.
