Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes and Hugo Weaving star in this Australian drama. Shortly after moving to the remote, desert town of Nathgari, Catherine and Matthew Parker (Kidman and Fiennes)'s lives are rocked by the disappearance of their teenage children Lily (Maddison Brown) and Tommy (Nicholas Hamilton). With a sandstorm due to hit the town, Catherine frantically searches for her children with the help of fellow residents, the police and local Detective David Rae (Weaving). As their private lives once again become the focus of public attention, buried events from the family's past in Canberra resurface putting Catherine and Matthew's relationship under further strain as they try to discover what happened to their children.
