When seven young male dancers appeared in Madonna's Vogue music video, they never could have envisaged what life had in store for them. Embarking on the 1990 Blonde Ambition Tour, they would become icons for the gay community, making vogueing a global phenomenon and forming a surrogate family with the Queen of Pop. Revisiting their stories 25 years on, Strike a Pose is an open, emotional retelling of the highs and lows of fame and stardom. The screening will be introduced by delectable voguers House of Shabazz and followed by the Strike A Pose 'Breathless' Party, 9.00pm at VFD. Tickets £3 with EEFF ticket stub. Check the East End Film Festival website for more information.
