Synopsis

Gallic comedy written by, directed by, and co-starring Michel Blanc. Elizabeth (Charlotte Rampling)'s husband Bertrand (Jacques Dutronc) decides to stay at home in Paris to be with his mistress so Elizabeth invites her friend Julie (Clotilde Coureau) - a single mother - on holiday. On the other side of town their hard-up neighbours, Veronique (Karin Viard), Jerome (Denis Podalydes) and son Loic (Gaspard Ulliel), are roughing it in a nearby caravan park and hating every minute of it. The scene is set for a farce involving bed-swapping, mistaken identity, suicide bids, passionate affairs and rampant testostorone.
