A double bill of French action-comedy. In 'Taxi' Daniel is a speed-obsessed ex-pizza delivery boy, who drives a custom-built taxi which is so fast that it even evades the police radars. When he unwittingly gives a speedy lift to police officer Emelien Coutan, he is informed that he'll have to give the car up - unless he co-operates with the police, and acts as Emelien's personal driver. Daniel agrees to the deal, and ends up in high-speed pursuit of German thieves. Whilst in 'Taxi 2', superfast cabby, Daniel returns to wreak more mayhem. This time he finds himself working as the personal chauffeur to a visiting Japanese minister, and then, when the minister is kidnapped, going up against the Japanese mafia in an attempt to get him back. What Daniel discovers is a cunning plot to hypnotise the minister and have him assassinate the French president, but can our hero rescue the minister and save the day?
