The Atrocity Exhibition Film Poster

Adaptation of J.G. Ballard's controversial experimental novel, about a doctor in a mental research institution who undergoes his own mental breakdown, and in the process relives the worst excesses of 20th-century technology, pornography, violence, sex, and death. Questioning what it means to be sane, and exploring the borders of reality, the film includes footage of Hiroshima, the Vietnam War, and the Kennedy assassination to illustrate the central character's breakdown.
