Synopsis

Robert Glinski directs this Polish war drama based on the novel by Aleksander Kaminski. As members of the Gray Ranks, an underground Polish movement, are intent on bringing justice to the German occupiers of Warsaw, Rudy, Zoska and Alek (Tomasz Zietek, Marcel Sabat and Kamil Szeptycki), join forces to free their colleagues from their Nazi captors. While Rudy continues to be tortured for information he cannot, or will not, provide, Zoska and Alek pool resources to help their friend escape certain eventual death.
