Synopsis

Collection of four films from the early career of acclaimed German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder. 'The City Tramp' (1966) stars Christoph Roser as a beggar who finds a gun lying in the street, while 'The Little Chaos' (1966) follows three cash-strapped friends as they attempt a robbery. In 'Love Is Colder Than Death' (1969) tough gangster Bruno (Ulli Lommel) becomes friends with the petty criminal he's been sent to kill while also catching the eye of his disillusioned girlfriend Johanna (Hanna Schygulla). Finally, 'Katzelmacher' (1969) tells the story of a Greek migrant worker who gets into trouble with a group of friends in Munich.
