The English Surgeon Film Poster

Synopsis

Award-winning profile of the pioneering English neurosurgeon Dr Henry Marsh. Since 1992, Marsh has been working with neurosurgeons in Ukraine, in the former Soviet Union. With a particular interest in the impact hospital buildings and their design have on patient outcomes and staff morale, the film follows Dr Marsh as he attempts to make headway in a hospital chronically under-equipped and over-burdened.
