A collection of six award-winning British short films. In 'Long Distance Information' (2011), Peter Mullen stars as an irascible Scot who has a sudden change of heart when he receives a phone call from his son. 'Man in Fear' (2011) stars Luke Treadaway as a paranoid man convinced that the authorities are out to kill him. Matthew Holness's 'A Gun for George' (2011), revolves around 1970s American action hero-influenced Terry Finch (Holness), who writes trashy novels in his dilapidated caravan. In 'The Ellington Kid' (2012), the assailants in a failed attempt at a gangland stabbing find themselves facing off against the owners of a late-night kebab shop. Romola Garai's 'Scrubber' (2012), centres on a young mother's penchant for illicit nocturnal activities. Finally, 'Friend Request Pending' (2011) stars Dame Judi Dench as a widower who discovers the benefits social media can hold for her love life.
