Documentary about the career of American astronaut Eugene Cernan. Recruited by NASA in 1963 after a decorated stint as a US Navy pilot, Cernan logged over 600 hours in space over the next decade which included visiting the moon's surface twice and becoming the eleventh and last person to walk on the moon. He was also on the Apollo 10 mission when the spacecraft set the record for the highest speed by a manned vehicle during its return from the moon in 1969. Featuring archive footage, interviews and reconstructions, Cernan reflects on his many achievements and sacrifices during his time with NASA.
