Synopsis

Obi Emelonye writes and directs this British-made coming-of-age fantasy adventure set in Gambia. Edward Kagutuzi stars as Tijan, a 12-year-old British-Gambian boy born and raised in London. Following a violent incident on the city's streets, Tijan's mother decides to take him to Gambia to teach him about discipline and give him a sense of his roots and identity. Not long after their arrival, Tijan is separated from his mother in a bustling street market, sparking a series of encounters with the mysterious 'mirror boy' which lead young Tijan on a mystical journey of self-discovery.
