Synopsis

Collection of three action features starring Nicolas Cage. In 'Dying of the Light' (2014) CIA agent Evan Lake (Cage) is forced to retire by his superiors when they decide he is fast becoming a liability to their agency. However, when an old enemy (Alexander Karim), thought dead for the last 22 years, resurfaces, Lake finds he can't leave the business quietly and follows his nemesis to Romania along with his accompanying protégé Milton Schultz (Anton Yelchin). But in what will be Lake's last chance to get revenge, there's more than just his legacy at stake. 'Dog Eat Dog' (2016) follows three ex-cons who are looking for one last big job to fund their retirement to Hawaii. Their leader Troy (Cage) is the brains of the operation and accepts a mission to kidnap a gangster's one-year-old child but it seems with Diesel (Christopher Matthew Cook) and Mad Dog (Willem Dafoe) by his side, their hopes of a big payoff seem doomed to fail. Finally, in 'The Trust' (2016) Las Vegas police officers Jim Stone (Cage) and David Waters (Elijah Wood) decide to ease their struggling finances by robbing a wealthy gangster who recently passed through their station. Their plan comes together nicely and, after breaking into his house, they crack open his loaded vault. But, much to Stone's chagrin, Waters has a change of heart and the robbery soon escalates into a hostage situation.
