Triple bill of action thrillers starring Steven Seagal. In 'The Patriot' (1998), a madman unleashes a deadly virus over a remote Western town. The only hope for the inhabitants' survival lies with the rugged local doctor, Wesley McClaren (Steven Seagal). Having previously worked as an immunologist for the US government, McClaren knows exactly what to do, but alongside his struggle with the deadly infections, he must also fight a running battle with the army and the local militia groups. Seagal plays Sascha Petrosevitch, an FBI agent working undercover to infiltrate a gang of crooks, in 'Half Past Dead' (2002). Sascha's undercover operation even stretches to being incarcerated in a jail known as 'the new Alcatraz' with one of the gang members, Nick Frazier (Ja Rule). But when a corrupt prison assistant, Donny (Morris Chestnut) storms the prison demanding that a soon-to-be-executed thief tell him the whereabouts of $200 million worth of gold, Sascha must convince his fellow inmates of his true identity and foil Donny's plan - and quickly. In 'The Foreigner' (2003), Seagal stars as Jonathan Cold, a freelance secret agent hired to deliver a mysterious package from France to Germany. The contents of the package are unknown to Cold, but he soon discovers that several different parties will go to great lengths to procure them, including political corruption, backstabbing and even murder.
