Synopsis

Documentary following two young Syrian protesters over two years during the country's uprising against President Bashar al-Assad. The film shows how former Syrian national football team goalkeeper Abdul Baset Al-Sarout has become an iconic leader of the revolution since civil war broke out in his home city of Homs. Joined by his friend and fellow activist Ossama al Homsi, the two young men aim to capture the horror and brutality of the revolutionary war as the Syrian army destroy their homes and livelihoods under the command of President al-Assad.
