Triple-bill of horror films directed by John Carpenter. In 'The Thing' (1982), an Antarctic research base becomes home to a sinister shape-shifting alien creature that can assume the guise of any of the increasingly paranoid research team. In 'Vampires' (1998), when Jack Crow's (James Woods) team of mercenary vampire hunters is slaughtered by the master vampire Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith), he teams up with Montoya (Daniel Baldwin) to fight back. Their only link to Valek is the beautiful, psychic prostitute Katrina (Sheryl Lee), and with her help they set out to confront the ultimate evil. Finally, in 'Village of the Damned' (1995), when an unseen force invades the village of Midwich, ten women are found to be mysteriously pregnant. All the babies, who are born simultaneously, have white hair, glowing eyes, strange psychic powers, and an unsettling desire to dominate anyone who crosses their path. Local doctor Alan Chaffee (Christopher Reeve) and government scientist Susan Verner (Kirstie Alley) set out to investigate.
