Heartwarming drama starring Anne-Marie Duff and Ralf Little as two strangers whose chance meeting at a train station throws both of their lives onto a different track. Anna (Duff) and Stephen (Little) are brought together in a train station waiting room by Roger (Frank Finlay), an old man who has been waiting to meet his wife. Roger reminisces with Anna and Stephen about the special things he used to do with his wife when they were younger, and, as they listen, the two young people are drawn together and make a real connection. Anna is a single mother who is having an affair with her best friend's husband, while Stephen is having doubts about whether he can commit to his girlfriend, and finds solace through his work at the local old people's home. After going their separate ways, Anna and Stephen's lives move onwards, but they soon find themselves thinking more and more about each other, and wondering what would happen should they meet again.
