A trio of Tokyo-set shorts. 'Interior Design', directed by Michel Gondry, tells the story of a couple relocating to Tokyo who outstay their welcome at a friend's apartment while they look for somewhere to live. Another Frenchman, Leos Carax, directs the second installment, 'Merde', in which a man living in the sewers beneath Tokyo is linked to a series of recent street stabbings across the city. Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho directs 'Shaking Tokyo', the story of a reclusive oddball who spends his time turning his rubbish into elaborate artworks in his home, until a pizza delivery woman and an earthquake conspire to turn his orderly existence upside down.
