Un Chien Andalou Film Poster

Synopsis

Luis Bunuel's first film (co-written with Salvador Dali) is a surrealist blueprint, a collection of incongruous and often shocking images, from an eye being slashed with a razor to ants crawling from a hole in the palm of a hand. This cassette contains two versions, one with Bunuel's own musical score (added in 1960), and one with a score by Mauricio Kagel (from 1983). Also included is an accompanying booklet.

Contains moderate surreal horror and sex
