Village of Doom Film Poster

Violent 1980s exploitation film by Japanese director Noboru Tanaka. As the storm clouds of war gather over Japan, the desperately patriotic Tsugio (Masato Furuoya) waits for his call up to duty. But in the close-knit community of his hometown of Higuera, the women have grown desperate for the company of men. When Tsugio stumbles upon one adulterous union, he is quickly seduced. However, this newfound pleasure quickly sours when Tsugio is diagnosed with tuberculosis, and is ostracised by the villagers. With everyone turned against him, Tsugio takes to the streets, fully armed and thirsty for bloody revenge.
