Synopsis

Warsaw chocolate factory worker Stefan (Józef Paw?owski) and his childhood friend Kama (Anna Próchniak) join the Polish Home Army to stand up to the brutal Nazi occupying rule in 1944. Against overwhelming odds, thousands of Polish soldiers rose up against their oppressors at enormous cost (16,000 were killed or posted missing) as Stalin's Red Army stood by rather than helping the rebels out. In Polish with English subtitles.
