Documentary centred on New York politician Anthony Weiner. Two years after suffering a very public fall from grace due to his role in a sexting scandal, the former congressman began his second New York City mayoral bid in 2013. Film-makers Josh Kriegman, Weiner's former political aide, and Elyse Steinberg follow his run as he tries to win back support with promises of his reformed character. But just as he begins to gather momentum, news of another similarly sordid scandal breaks leaving Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton, to play damage control once again as he resolves to stay in the race and fight for his election, placing his marriage and working relationships under increasing strain.
