Synopsis

Monty Banks directs this 1930s comedy starring popular music hall entertainer Leslie Fuller and co-written by Syd Courtenay, who also makes an appearance. Bill Biggles (Fuller) isn't the best around women and his love life has suffered as a result. Like the rest of the sailors given shore leave in Arabia, Bill is hopeful that his luck will change - not least because he is friendly with a local sheik who has a palace full of beautiful women. When the ruler is forced to leave on business and appoints Bill to watch over his domain, the Englishman can barely believe his luck. Unfortunately, the sheik's many wives decide to take the opportunity to go on strike...
