Mark Noonan writes and directs this Irish comedy drama starring Aidan Gillen and Lauren Kinsella. Following the death of her mother, 11-year-old orphan Stacey (Kinsella) moves with her absent uncle Will (Gillen) to the remote Irish Midlands. After he is given early compassionate release from prison, Will takes his young niece to stay at a countryside caravan park that he and her mother used to visit in their youth. There, they meet Belgian schoolteacher Emilie (Erika Sainte) who offers to tutor Stacey after she is no longer able to attend school. While Will tries his best to raise his young niece under the testing circumstances he must also try to find a job before the authorities decide whether Stacey can remain under his guardianship and whether he should return to prison.
