Two popular romantic comedies starring Meg Ryan. In 'You've Got Mail' (1998), Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) and Kathleen Kelly (Ryan) are rivals in business: he working for Fox & Sons, a chain of discount bookstores; she owning a tiny bookshop of her own. In 'Addicted to Love' (1997), when his childhood sweetheart leaves him for another man, astronomer Sam (Matthew Broderick) rents the flat opposite her apartment, in order to spy on her. The man his lost love Linda (Kelly Preston) has taken up with is Aton (Tcheky Karyo), who has in turn dumped his own fiancée - photographer Maggie (Ryan), who now wants revenge. Maggie teams up with Sam to launch a campaign of terror against Aton and Linda, with hilarious consequences.
