Willis is a football stadium security guard, with a rocky marriage and an unremarkable life. However all that changes when he walks away from a train crash that kills everyone else involved. Soon he is contacted by Samuel L Jackson, a man obsessed with comic books, nicknamed \u2018Mr Glass\u2019 as a kid because of his severely brittle bones. Jackson is convinced Willis survived the crash because he is unbreakable, even though Willis refuses to believe it.Although not a comic book adaption Shyamalan has gone on record as saying that the film was inspired in part by the longstanding myth of the noble hero, and modern superhero comics in particular.
