Re-release of Charles Walters's 1956 musical, which was nominated for two Academy Awards as Best Music and Best Original Song. Socialite Tracy Lord (Grace Kelly) is about to marry stuffy businessman George Kittredge (John Lund), having divorced some years earlier from CK Dexter-Haven (Bing Crosby), who is still deeply in love with his ex-wife. CK sets about winning Tracy back, but his romantic overtures are somewhat thwarted by the presence of tabloid journalist Mike Connor (Frank Sinatra), who also falls for her whilst covering the magazine. A romantic comedy of errors ensues as Tracy discovers which of the three men (if any) truly deserves to join her down the aisle. High Society is still one of the best film musicals, featuring sparkling performances from Kelly, Crosby and Sinatra. The soundtrack is an embarrassment of Cole Porter favourites including "Little One", "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?", "Well, Did You Evah", "Now You Has Jazz" and "You're Sensational".

googleTrackerHelper.doTrackPage( '/'High-Society-film_options~13998'/Reviews/ViewAll/1' );"}
