Sixteen-year-old Kayla (Aimee Kelly) lives on a rundown London estate with her older sister, Tanya (Katie Foster-Barnes), who is struggling to fill the gap left by their mother. The siblings constantly row and following the latest argument, Tanya attempts to call a truce over dinner. Unfortunately, Kayla fails to turn up and on the way home from the cafe, Tanya is senselessly murdered by violent and misogynist gang leader, Trey (Ashley Walters).
