Season 1 (1997)

Entire first season of the teen fantasy show in one, three-volume box set. In 'Welcome to the Hellmouth', Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is forced to resume her role as vampire slayer after moving to new school Sunnydale High. 'The Harvest' sees Buffy battling it out with a powerful vampire known as 'the Master'. 'Witch' has the tryouts for school cheerleader take a somewhat supernatural turn. 'Teacher's Pet' sees Buffy discover that the substitute biology teacher has been devouring Sunnydale's male students. Whilst, 'Never Kill a Boy on the First Date' sees Buffy's date with a classmate interrupted by a vampire plot to send her to Hell. 'The Pack' finds Xander and his fellow males taken over by murderous, demonic hyenas. 'Angel' sees Buffy attempting to resist her attraction to Angel after discovering his terrible secret. In 'I, Robot... You Jane', Willow falls prey to a spell via the Internet. And in 'The Puppet Show', the school's talent show contestants are being murdered one by one for their body organs. 'Nightmare' sees Buffy drawing on her own special strength when everyone's bad dreams become reality. 'Out of Mind, Out of Sight' has Cordelia's May Queen campaign become the target of an unpopular girl with supernatural powers, placing her and Buffy's lives at risk. Then finally, in 'Prophecy Girl', Giles discovers an ancient book foretelling Buffy's death and the end of the world.

Season 2 (1998)

'Some Assembly Required' sees parts of dead girls' bodies going missing - to be used in the creation of a perfect woman! 'School Hard' finds Buffy protecting her friends and family when uninvited guests crash the parent teacher evening. 'Inca Mummy Girl' has a ravenous Peruvian exchange student creating chaos when she joins a school field trip. In 'Reptile Boy', Buffy and Cordelia are offered as human sacrifices to a man who is half snake. 'Halloween' sees Buffy bereft of her powers while trick-or-treating. 'Lie to Me' finds Buffy less-than-pleased when her former fifth-grade flame re-enters her life. 'The Dark Age' sees Giles' (Anthony Stewart Head) past in danger of being revealed when he is linked to a murder. 'What's My Line? - Part 1' has Buffy meeting her new ally, Kendra, while Angel (David Boreanaz) and Spike (James Marsters) hunt each other down. 'What's My Line? - Part 2' finds Buffy reluctantly teaming up with her rival vampire slayer to save Spike, while in 'Ted', Buffy becomes suspicious of her mother's charming new boyfriend. In 'Bad Eggs', two wild west vampires arrive in town to hunt Buffy down. 'Surprise' sees Spike and Drusilla (Juliet Landau) determined to create the ultimate weapon using the dismembered body parts of the Judge, and in 'Innocence', Buffy realizes that she must destroy the transformed Angel. 'Phases' sees Buffy determined to save a newly arrived werewolf from an evil poacher. In 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered', Xander (Nicholas Brendan) places a spell on Cordelia when she dumps him on Valentine's Day. 'Passion' sees Jenny attempt to put things right with Giles, and in 'Killed by Death', Xander tries to protect a seriously ill Buffy from Angel's wrath. 'I Only Have Eyes for You' sees Buffy and friends assisting a tortured spirit who is haunting Sunnydale High. In 'Go Fish', the Sunnydale swim team fall prey to a monster, while 'Becoming - Part 1', sees Buffy making the final decision to destroy Angel. In 'Becoming - Part 2', Buffy is forced to make an unlikely alliance in order to save the world.

Season 3 (1999)

Entire third season of the popular teen fantasy. In 'Anne', Buffy attempts to drag herself away from the netherworld into which she has fallen, whilst her friends continue their search for her. 'Dead Man's Party' sees Buffy receiving a cool welcome when she returns to school. 'Faith, Hope and Trick' finds Buffy teaming up with Faith, a new rival slayer, to repel the threat of Kakistos and Mr Trick. 'Beauty and the Beasts' has Oz suspected of mauling one of his friends during one of his werewolf transformations. 'Homecoming' sees a number of conflicts come to a head as the school year draws to a close. 'Band Candy' finds Buffy suffering from a bout of exam stress, whilst Sunnydale's adult population take a collective odd turn after eating some highly unusual candy. In 'Revelations', Giles is assessed by Faith's new Watcher, while Buffy's secret finally comes out: Angel is back in town. 'Lover's Walk' finds the romantic complications which have developed between Spike and Drusilla being overshadowed by Buffy's decision to stop seeing Angel. 'The Wish' has Cordelia blame Buffy for her various troubles, only to need her help when she unwittingly unleashes a demon upon herself. 'Amends' sees Christmas being celebrated in a distinctly unfestive fashion, as Buffy and Giles attempt to find out why Angel has been sent back to Earth. 'Gingerbread' finds Willow taking the blame for the deaths of two young children. In 'Helpless', Buffy feels let down by Giles when he tells her that the gradual loss of her powers as she approaches her eighteenth birthday is part of a special test for slayers. 'The Zeppo' sees Xander landing himself in trouble when he attempts to prove his worth to Cordelia. 'Bad Girls' has Buffy and Faith set out to eliminate the El Eliminati vampires before the upcoming 'dedication'. 'Consequences' finds Faith and Buffy ordered to investigate the murder of Finch by Watcher Wesley. 'Doppelgangland' sees the now powerless Anya turn to Willow for help. 'Enemies' finds Buffy and Faith at odds with each other when the latter kills a demon in order to steal the Books of Ascension. In 'Earshot' Buffy discovers new powers after demon ooze accidentally seeps into her skin. 'Choices' sees the entire community adamant that Buffy cannot leave Sunnydale for Northwestern University. In 'The Prom', the students are placed at risk by Hell Hounds unleashed in Oz's chemistry lab. 'Graduation Day - Part 1' sees Angel's life in danger after he is shot by Faith with a poison arrow. And in 'Part 2', the Mayor sends his henchmen after Buffy, who offers to save Angel's life with her own blood.

Season 4 (2000)

The entire fourth season of the popular teen fantasy. In 'The Freshman' Buffy tries to get used to her new college environment. 'Living Conditions' sees her growing increasingly irritated by her unstable and idiosyncratic new room-mate. 'The Harsh Light of Day' has Spike return to Sunnydale in search of the vampire equivalent of the Holy Grail. 'Fear Itself' finds Buffy, Willow, Oz and Xander attending a fraternity Halloween party. 'Beer Bad' sees Buffy fall in with a heavy-drinking crowd who are keen to get her back to her primordial roots. 'Wild at Heart' finds Willow disconsolate when Oz is drawn to fellow werewolf Veruca. In 'The Initiative' Spike is kidnapped by a commando squad and taken to an underground laboratory. 'Pangs' sees Angel back in Sunnydale, attempting to protect Buffy when the spirits of the town's original inhabitants return for a vengeful Thanksgiving celebration. 'Something Blue' has Buffy fall in love with Spike and start drawing up plans for their marriage. 'Hush' finds Sunnydale's inhabitants left speechless by some otherworldly visitors. 'Doomed' sees Buffy and the gang return to Sunnydale High when the Hellmouth is reopened. 'A New Man' has Giles transformed into a demon after a night out with Ethan Rayne. 'The I in Team' Buffy meeting the Initiative group for the first time, thanks to an introduction from Riley. In 'Goodbye Iowa' Riley has doubts regarding his relationship with Buffy. 'This Year's Girl' sees Faith out for revenge after waking from her Buffy-induced eight-month coma. 'Who are You' has Faith's perspective on life altered when she takes over the Slayer's body. 'Superstar' finds Buffy beginning to doubt whether cool kid Jonathan is really as perfect as he seems. 'Where the Wild Things Are' sees the gang come up against a gang of sexually repressed poltergeists. 'New Moon Rising' has Willow and Tara's relationship threatened by the return of Oz. 'The Yoko Factor' finds Angel returning from Los Angeles in order to apologise to Buffy. 'Primeval' sees Riley enslaved by Adam, who is using Spike to create dissension in the gang. Finally, in 'Restless', the gang experience some very strange dreams after a night in at Buffy's.

Season 5 (2000)

The entire fifth season of the popular teen fantasy. In 'Buffy vs Dracula', Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) battles the most famous vampire of them all, while Xander falls under the evil Count's spell. 'Real Me' sees Buffy beginning to resent her sister Dawn's presence, while in 'The Replacement', Xander is split into two bodies with separate personalities following an attack by the demon Toth. 'Out of My Mind' finds Spike planning to reverse the effects of the process employed on him by the Initiative in order to return to his bad old ways. In 'No Place Like Home', Buffy's mother suddenly becomes ill, and 'Family' sees the arrival of Tara's family in Sunnydale leading to the revelation of an old secret. In 'Fool for Love', Spike recounts his vampire history to Buffy when she forces him to reveal how he killed two former slayers. 'Shadow' sees Buffy attempting to protect Dawn from an evil force summoned by Glory. In 'Listening to Fear', Buffy's mother prepares for brain surgery, and Sunnydale is visited by an extraterrestrial demon. 'Into the Woods' sees Riley's darkest secret revealed after Buffy discovers him in the arms of a female vampire. And in 'Triangle', Anya and Willow fall out when Giles leaves them in charge of the Magic Shop. In 'Checkpoint' the Watchers' Council comes to Sunnydale and insists that Buffy submit to a review of her slayer skills. 'Blood Ties' has Buffy celebrating her 20th birthday and Dawn making a life-changing discovery. 'Crush' sees Spike first confess his love for Buffy and then, after being rejected, rejoin the dreaded Drusilla. 'I Was Made to Love You' finds Buffy doing her best to save the city from destruction while also confronting how she feels about her lost love. In 'The Body' Buffy and her friends try to cope with the loss of someone very close to them. 'Forever' has Angel console Buffy while Dawn uses magic to resurrect her mother. 'Intervention' sees Spike build a robotic replica of Buffy, leading to much confusion among the gang. 'Tough Love' finds Buffy forced to take on the role of an authority figure in order to bring the wayward Dawn back on track. 'Spiral' sees the gang leave Sunnydale and take on the Knights of Byzantium. 'The Weight of the World' has the friends gather round and try to think of a way they can help Buffy. And finally, in 'The Gift', Buffy comes to make the ultimate sacrifice.

'DoubleMeat Palace' sees a cash-poor Buffy taking a job in a fast food restaurant. 'Dead Things' sees the Troika convince Buffy that she has killed the innocent Katrina. 'Older and Far Away' has everyone gather together for Buffy's 21st birthday party. 'As You Were' finds Buffy's ex-boyfriend Riley back in town and now happily married. In 'Hell's Bells' Xander and Anya's wedding day brings all kinds of trouble. 'Normal Again' sees Buffy captivated by a hallucination in which she leads a normal life, free of all her slaying commitments. 'Entropy' has the friends discover that the Troika have been filming their every action with hidden cameras. 'Seeing Red' finds Buffy trying to foil an armoured van robbery. 'Villains' sees Willow go on the rampage after experiencing a tragic loss. 'Two to Go' has Buffy protect the remaining Troika members against Willow's wrath. Finally, in 'Grave', the time arrives for the final showdown between Willow, Buffy and Giles.

'First Date' sees Buffy out on a dinner date with Principal Wood. 'Get it Done' finds the gang watching a puppet show with unexpected consequences. In 'Storyteller' Buffy and friends become the subject of a documentary. 'Lies My Parents Told Me' reveals secrets about Spike's relationship with his mother. 'Dirty Girls' has Faith return to Sunnydale. 'Empty Places' finds the potential slayers siding with Faith against Buffy. 'Touched' sees Spike on the trail of the rejected Buffy. In 'End of Days' Buffy discovers the scythe which was created to kill the last pure demon. Season 8 (2011)

Motion comic addition to the popular 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' TV series.
