Season 2 (2016)

The complete three series of the BBC drama inspired by Alexandre Dumas's novel 'The Three Musketeers'. Set in 17th-century Paris, the show follows the musketeers, Athos (Tom Burke), Aramis (Santiago Cabrera), Porthos (Howard Charles) and D'Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino), as they set about defending their queen (Alexandra Dowling) from threats to her throne and the nation of France as a whole. Sources of danger include the devilish Cardinal Richelieu (Peter Capaldi), Comte de Rochefort (Marc Warren), the King's mistress Malady de Winter (Maimie McCoy) and Marquie de Feron (Rupert Everett) though they are by no means the only enemies the dashing musketeers will have to contend with...
