Season 1 (2013)

Complete first series of the BBC drama starring Jennie Jacques as the first Woman Police Constable to join a West Midlands force in 1956. Upon starting work in the Brinford constabulary, Gina Dawson (Jacques) is given a tiny office that was previously used as a storage cupboard and assigned elementary work to keep her from distracting the men. She is shocked by how the other staff treat her, particularly the sexist behaviour of Sergeant Sidney Fenton (Charles De'Ath) who seems to keep Chief Inspector Roger Nelson (John Light) in the dark over his questionable methods. As she struggles to gain the acceptance of her colleagues, the male-dominated team hunt for a serial killer whilst searching for two missing boys who disappeared 30 years previously. Season 3 (2015)

Complete third series of the BBC drama starring Claudia Jessie as one of the first Woman Police Constables to join a West Midlands force in the 1950s. WPC Annie Taylor (Jessie) joins the Brinford Constabulary as a replacement for the recently departed Gina Dawson who has moved to the Metropolitan force. Hailing from a family of law enforcers, Annie thinks she knows how to handle her fellow officers including the unpleasant Sergeant Fenton (Charles De'Ath). As the team try to solve the shooting of a retired brigadier, Coulson (John Bowler) continues to try to gain control of the station. The episodes are: 'A Different Beat', 'Walk the Line', 'From The Shadows', 'The Wayward Wind' and 'Requiem'.
