Season 1 (1996)

Concluding episodes of the first series of the popular telefantasy. 'Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts' sees Helen of Troy calling on Xena to defend the city, but the musclebound heroine soon finds herself behind bars. In 'Athens City Academy of Performing Bards', Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) meets a young man and his father, who are on their way to a musical competition. Excited by the idea, Gabrielle decides to join in. In 'A Fistful of Dinars', Xena attempts to prevent Ambrosia, the precious food of the gods, from falling into the wrong hands. In 'Warrior...Princess', Xena poses as King Lisa's daughter, Diana, to ensure that her marriage to Mineus of Liberium goes ahead without interference. Whilst in 'Mortal Beloved', Atyminius is causing havoc in the Underworld after stealing Hades' 'Helmet of Invisibility'. Xena is summoned to restore order. In 'The Royal Couple of Thieves', Xena joins forces with renowned thief Autolycus to recover a chestful of priceless and powerful weapons from warlord Malthus. 'The Prodigal' sees Gabrielle teaming with warrior Meleager to save her home from brigand Damon, while in 'Altared States', Xena and Gabrielle intervene to save a young boy from the religious cult led by his brother, who wants to sacrifice his sibling. In 'Ties That Bind', Xena meets a man who claims to be her father. 'The Greater Good' sees Gabrielle forced to impersonate her chum when Xena is wounded in battle. In 'Callisto', Xena meets a woman who is bent on avenging her murdered family. 'Death Mask' sees Xena encountering a man who wears the mask of the warlord who slew her brother. Finally, in 'Is There a Doctor in the House?', Xena saves Gabrielle's life in the Mitoan-Thessalian war.

Season 2 (1997)

Second half of the second series of the popular TV fantasy. In 'Destiny', Xena becomes delirious after being wounded in battle. 'The Quest' sees Xena's spirit inhabiting Autolycus in order to find the only substance which can bring her back to life. In 'A Necessary Evil', Xena and Gabrielle plot for Velasca to battle the immortal Callisto. 'A Day in the Life' sees the duo defending a village, battling a warlock and fighting a giant. In 'For Him the Bell Tolls', Gabrielle must confront Aphrodite, goddess of love, when she casts a spell on Joxer. 'The Execution' sees Xena and Gabrielle coming to the aid of their friend Meleager when he is sentenced to death for a murder he did not commit. In 'Blind Faith', Xena is blinded during a battle with Palaemon. 'Ulysses' finds Xena and Gabrielle taking on Poseidon, god of the sea, when they aid the handsome king of Ithica. In 'The Price', a tribe known as the Horde attack the lady warriors while they are fishing for breakfast. 'The Lost Mariner' sees Gabrielle rescued by the doomed ship of Cecrops when she is shipwrecked - a vessel cursed by Poseidon which no-one can ever leave! Finally, in 'A Comedy of Eros', Cupid's son Bliss causes havoc with his father's arrows.

Season 3 (1998)

Box set containing the opening episodes from the third series of the popular telefantasy. In 'The Furies', Xena is cursed by three beautiful women known as the Furies until she avenges her father's death. 'Been There, Done That' sees Xena called upon to end a tragic cycle of events caused by a feud between two houses, while in 'The Dirty Half Dozen', the warrior princess assembles a band of criminals in an attempt to stop Agathon and his army from conquering the world. 'The Deliverer' sees Xena joining with her former enemy Boadicea to battle Julius Caesar, and in 'Gabrielle's Hope', Gaberielle gives birth to the daughter of Dahak, the Evil One. 'The Debt' sees Xena off to China to settle an old score, while in 'The Debt Part 2', Xena is captured after attempting to kill Emperor Ming T'ien. In 'The King of Assassins', Gabrielle joins with Joxer and Autolycus to prevents Joxus' evil twin assassinating Cleopatra. 'Warrior... Priestess... Tramp' sees Xena teaming with two lookalikes to save the Hestian race from extinction. In 'The Quill is Mightier', a jealous Aphrodite attempts to end Xena's popularity by casting a spell on her scroll, and 'Maternal Instincts' sees Gabrielle's evil daughter Hope joining with Callisto in an attempt to kill Xena's son, Solan.

In 'Little Problems' Aphrodite tries to arrange a body swap between Xena and young Daphne. 'Seeds of Faith' sees the identity of Xena's baby's father revealed. 'Lyre, Lyre, Hearts on Fire' finds the warrior princess arranging a contest to decide the fate of Terpsichore's lyre. And 'Punchlines' has Lacrymose transform Gabrielle and Argo into shrunken mini-people.

Season 6 (2001)

Episodes 12 to 22 from the sixth series of the popular TV fantasy. In 'The God You Know' Xena travels to Rome with a mission to kill the villainous emperor Caligula. 'You Are There' has Xena followed by a tabloid-TV reporter. 'Path of Vengeance' sees Xena and Gabrielle try to save Eve from execution at the hands of the Amazons. 'To Helicon and Back' finds Gabrielle in command of the Amazon army when Queen Varia is abducted by a masked kidnapper. In 'Send in the Clones' a group of New York Xena fans clone their heroine in an attempt to rid the modern world of evil. 'Last of the Centaurs' has Xena and Gabrielle come to the aid of Ephiny's son Xenan. 'When Fates Collide' explores an alternative history where Xena is married to Caesar and Gabrielle is a famous playwright. 'Many Happy Returns' sees the jape factor cranked up to the maximum when the girls set out on the road to Thebes ready for Gabrielle's birthday. 'Soul Possession' finds the story in the hands of a group of modern day myth researchers who have uncovered a lost scroll telling of Xena's marriage to Ares. Finally, in the two-part story 'A Friend in Need', Xena and Gabrielle protect a Japanese town from some unwanted spectral attentions.
