Remake of the 1957 Sidney Lumet classic. Twelve jurors retire to consider their verdict in what is an apparently open-and-shut case. A young man is accused of stabbing his father, and all the circumstantial evidence points to him being guilty. However, one man on the jury (Jack Lemmon) feels that there is room for reasonable doubt, and sets about convincing the other eleven. Along the way, various prejudices and frailties are revealed in each man.
