Acclaimed drama dissecting the hypocrisies of the British class system. Set in Thatcher's Britain of the 1980s, it follows Dean (Matthew Leitch), a young working-class man who leaves his home in Romford and heads to London to escape his abusive father. There he falls in with a wealthy gallery owner and gains access to the society of the upper-classes. In a world awash with cocaine and deception, Dean starts taking full advantage of the life on offer, until a Fraud Squad investigation into his finances forces him to flee to Europe.
