Thriller set during the Second World War. In 1939 a German expedition sets off to Spitsbergen, Norway, to discover proof of Alfred Wegener's theory of continental drift. The expedition consists of Germans, Brits and a Swede, while the captain of their ship is Norwegian and the crew is from Russia. When World War II breaks out tensions rise on board and their situation gets even worse when the German government orders them to assist in a military mission to bring down a British warship. How will the crew and passengers fare now that they are part of a worldwide power struggle?
