In this 1978 episode, based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, a Chelsea couple's (Benjamin Whitrow and Zena Walker) dog has been kidnapped and a ransom demanded. When the ransom is paid but no dog is returned, an ambitious young policeman (Brian Stirner) takes it into his own hands to solve the dognapping.
